Baylor, the self-branded #WRU, has lost one of its members.
Junior receiver Tony Nicholson has been granted his release from Baylor's football program with intentions of transferring, according to a report from the Waco Tribune-Herald.
In 11 games in 2017, Nicholson caught 41 passes for 344 yards and returned six punts for 70 yards.
This season, Nicholson hasn't caught a single pass as his role in the receiving rotation has completely diminished with senior Tennessee transfer Jalen Hurd, who is leading the Bears with 18 receptions, 251 yards and two touchdowns.
