Earlier today the PAC-12 announced it will not expand at this time:
Don Williams of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reported that Kirby Hocutt, Texas Tech’s AD, Mack Rhoades, Kansas’s chancellor and Iowa State’s president are on a committee exploring expansion.
I’ll do a deeper-dive on this, but it would make sense for the Big 12 to add at least two schools. BYU no longer has opposition from Texas. UCF has grown a ton. Memphis is in a major American city as is Cincinnati. If the Big 12 adds four, those are the best picks.
