As likely every college football fan is keenly aware, this season will be one of the strangest in the 151 year history of intercollegiate football. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, schedules are shifting on a nearly daily basis, fans are being restricted at most events in some way or another, and the Big Ten and Pac-12 have called it quits on the fall season entirely. Player safety is tantamount (or at least should be) to all of these decisions. At this point, it’s nearly impossible to say who is making the right call and who isn’t, only time will tell.
