No. 2 Bears lead Mountaineers 27-17 at halftime

At the end of the first half, the No. 2 Baylor Bears lead the West Virginia Mountaineers 27-17. West Virginia is, by far, Baylor’s toughest opponent to date and it is showing on the field.

OFFENSE

The Bears came into the game with the nation’s top offense, averaging 730 yards per game. Although West Virginia fields the best defense the Bears have seen this season statistically, the Baylor offense keeps rolling. While junior running back Shock Linwood has been relatively quiet to start the game, junior quarterback Seth Russell has carried the Bears run game.
