Baylor volleyball improved to (9-4, 3-1) after sweeping the University of North Texas (9-8, 2-2). Despite not starting star senior outside hitter Yossiana Pressley, the Bears didn’t miss a beat in their sixth sweep in the last eight matches.
In the first set, the Bears were down early but quickly woke up and took control of the game. A mid-set five-point run put Baylor up 11-7. With four aces in the set, the Bears kept their foot on the gas as they won the set 25-19.
The second set started off back-and-forth with little separation in the score.
