Baylor sophomore guard Natalie Chou from Plano West has been granted a release and will transfer, Baylor women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey announced Monday.
The 6-1 Chou appeared in 64 games with 21 starts in two seasons for the Lady Bears. She averaged 6.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals this season as Baylor reached the Sweet 16 and finished 33-2.
Chou was a five-star recruit and McDonald's All-American at Plano West, and she was ranked as the eighth-best player in the nation in the Class of 2016 by ESPN's HoopGurlz. She averaged 17.5 minutes of playing time per game in her career at Baylor -- 14.
