Baylor has landed a sleeper from the Dallas-area.
McKinney defensive end Mitchell Tyler gave the Bears a verbal commitment on Wednesday.
He announced his decision via Twitter.
Tyler picked Baylor over offers from Air Force, Army, Kansas, New Mexico, North Texas and UConn.
At 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, Tyler is unranked, per Rivals.com.
Baylor now has five commits in its 2020 recruiting class, which is ranked ninth in the Big 12.
Tyler is the second Dallas-area recruit to commit to Baylor this cycle, joining Colleyville Heritage offensive lineman Gavin Byers.
