The Lady Bears extended its win streak to 12 after going two for two on the road, and cruising through Lubbock with a win against Texas Tech, 66-36.
”Going into the fourth quarter with a 20-something point lead, I thought you saw a different basketball team than you saw at a TCU the other night,” said head coach Kim Mulkey. ”We took care of the basketball, we made free throws, we defended with effort and we helped each other.’
The Lady Bears (25-1, 12-1) are now 28-8 against the Lady Raiders under Mulkey and with the win the Lady Bears have had 13 straight 25-win seasons.
