"We've been banging around with each other at practice, and it felt good just to play another team," Cox said. "The atmosphere was really great. I've never played in front of that many people before, so that was a lot of fun."
Cox gave them something to cheer for in the fourth quarter when she grabbed a defensive rebound and took it all the way in for a breakaway layup to cap off a 20-point run that stretched a nine-point lead out to 84-55.
"Nobody was in front of me, so I just took off" said Cox, the nation's top-rated recruit out of Flower Mound, Texas.
