The NCAA has denied #Baylor’s application for DE K.J. Smith’s bid for a 6th year of eligibility (medical redshirt), a #Baylor spokesperson said Friday. No appeal is expected.

Smith missed 11 games for the Bears last season. He’d been a program leader and wanted to return for another season. But the NCAA has denied him. The NCAA has found another way to make a bad decision.
