Football becomes bowl eligible with win over BYU
Senior running back Abram Smith and junior linebacker Dillon Doyle shined as Baylor (6-1, 3-1) defeated No. 19 Brigham Young University (5-2) 38-24 Saturday at McLane Stadium for their second win over a ranked team this season. Smith had a career day, finishing the game with 27 carries for 188 yards and three scores. Doyle made history, becoming just the sixth player since 2004 to record two touchdowns and a sack in the same game, scoring both a rushing and receiving touchdown.
