What happened to Baylor last Thursday was more than a simple case of growing pains for a young team.
So after a 58-14 loss to No. 13 West Virginia, the Bears held a players-only meeting to watch the film and breakdown what went wrong in a game that was 41-0 at halftime.
"It was hard to watch what happened, but we needed it," freshman offensive tackle Connor Galvin told local reporters on Tuesday. "It's going to help us in the future."
Baylor's short-term future could include a postseason berth, the odds of which increase with a win against Oklahoma State (5-3, 2-3 conference) this weekend.
