Graduate transfers generally look for a new school where they will get guaranteed starting time. But a potential competition for the starting job at Baylor did not scare away Arizona transfer Anu Solomon.
In a recent interview with ESPN.com's Mitch Sherman, Solomon said he was became more excited about Baylor when he saw freshman quarterback Zach Smith throw for 375 yards and three touchdowns in a Cactus Bowl win in December.
Now enrolled in Baylor after some trying, injury-plagued seasons at Arizona, Solomon understands that he is behind Smith on the depth chart to start offseason workouts, but he wants to work with the rising-sophomore instead of against him.
