Houston Texans draft Baylor center Kyle Fuller in seventh round of NFL draft

Baylor center Kyle Fuller was drafted by the Houston Texans in the seventh round of the NFL draft on Saturday. His selection means that Baylor has had a player drafted in nine consecutive years.

The Wylie product is listed at 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds. He was an All-Big 12 center who started for three years at Baylor (39 games).

Fuller's size helped him be selected after a poor combine performance. Teams were also skeptical of his ability to hold blocks. He faces an uphill battle to make the Texans' roster as Houston has depth on its offensive line.
