Baylor expects to be pleased with its setup in the women's NCAA tournament when the bracket is revealed at 6 p.m. Monday.
The Big 12 regular-season and tournament champions are predicted to earn a No. 1 seed in the Dallas region. That means if the Bears (33-1) advance after hosting the first two rounds at the Ferrell Center in Waco, they would head to the familiar and friendly American Airlines Center.
They wouldn't need to leave that 90-mile comfort zone unless they qualify for the Final Four, which is April 3-5 in Indianapolis.
Baylor won the league tournament at AAC a year ago.
