Former Baylor WR Jay Lee opens up on draft process, Pro Day performance

WACO -- Former Baylor wide receiver Jay Lee was often the forgotten man next to Biletnikoff winner Corey Coleman, but the senior was a consistent target. The senior caught 38 passes for 758 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior, even as the Bears hemorrhaged quarterbacks.

Lee proved to be one of the best wide receivers during the Senior Bowl, but failed to receive an invitation to the NFL combine. He made up for it during Wednesday's Baylor Pro Day, running a 4.51 40-yard dash and impressing scouts with his hands and route-running ability. He showed the combination of size, speed and strength that makes NFL scouts pay attention.
