Brice Cherry of the Waco Tribune-Herald reports on Baylor folks past and present trying to make the Olympics:
Bromell projects as the best hope for a Baylor track Olympian, but he’s far from the only one stalking that goal. Six other former Baylor track and field standouts will compete in Eugene, including former gold medalist Jeremy Wariner, who is trying to make the fourth and likely final Olympic team of his career. The other BU alums in action will be Tiffani McReynolds (100-meter hurdles), Rachel Johnson (3,000 steeplechase), Lauren Hagans Paquette (5,000), Tiffany Townsend (100, 200), James Gilreath (800) and Olicia Williams (800).
