Phillip Ericksen of the Waco Tribune-Herald had a detailed write up of Dr. Livingstone’s hire:

Linda A. Livingstone, the current dean at the George Washington University School of Business, was formally named Baylor University’s 15th president on Tuesday.

To me, it seems like Baylor made an excellent hire. Dr. Livingstone is well-qualified and has an impressive resume. But in 2017, there are a lot of terrible takes. This was my response:
