Arlington Lamar's Bobby Brown stuck out like a human in Loompaland at this weekend's Texas state 7-on-7 championships.
Brown, who is in the Class of 2018, is 6-5, 271 pounds. He normally plays defensive end, but this weekend he joined his smaller brethren and played receiver at for Lamar's 7-on-7 team.
"It's funner than D-end," Brown said. "You get to talk more trash."
At defensive end, Brown is a four-star recruit according to 247 Sports' composite ratings. Brown said he has scholarship offers from seven colleges including Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Baylor and Missouri. He lists Texas A&M and Oklahoma as his favorites right now.
