Texas high school football playoffs are here, which means players committed to area colleges are making noise on the field.

Baylor
-- Trinity Christian Cedar Hill running back Qualan Jones ran for 139 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-0 win over Grapevine Faith.
-- Round Rock Cedar Ridge wide receiver Jaylen Ellis caught six passes for 157 yards and a touchdown in a 53-50 loss to The Woodlands.
-- Prestonwood Christian safety Solomon Turner lined up at wide receiver and caught six passes for 198 yards and a touchdown in a 24-21 loss to Argyle Liberty Christian.
