Baylor coach Art Briles yells from the sideline during the first half of an NCAA college football game against Lamar in Waco, Texas. Baylor University's board of regents says it will fire Briles and re-assign university President Kenneth Starr in response to questions about its handling of sexual assault complaints against players.
Baylor isn’t the first and certainly won’t be the last football program to sacrifice ethics and common decency on the altar of winning.
It is the most recent and an egregious example. Across the country, coaches and administrators should be taking notes on what happened and what was not done in Waco.
