Things stayed mostly in tact atop the Best in Texas rankings this week, with the only difference being that SMU picked up a third first-place vote after Texas A&M lost to Arkansas and the Ponies beat Memphis.
But that was not nearly enough to change the order on top as A&M stayed in first for the second-straight week.
But even if the four top spots stayed stagnant, Nos. 5 through 9 were much more interesting as Stephen F. Austin roared back up the polls.
