With the college football season just days away now, let's take a look at the best-case scenario and worst-case scenario Baylor could face this season.
Best-case scenario
Quarterback Zach Smith uses the playing time he received last season, as well as starter reps in camp, and looks like a true starter. He has three warmup games to start the season before meeting perennial power Oklahoma and Oklahoma State in the span of three games. With the repetitions and experience as a starter, Smith will be able to beat one of the two schools from our neighbors to the north, and gain confidence enough to compete against other rivals like Texas and TCU later in the season.
