Baylor Soccer went to Indiana this weekend to participate in the Boilermaker Challenge Cup.
Friday saw the Bears in a tight match against the Boilermakers of Purdue. Purdue went up a goal in just the third minute of the match. While the Bears were able to net an equalizer late, they couldn't hold on to the tie and gave up the game winner just seconds later. Freshman Sarah King got her first collegiate goal and Julie James got her first assist in this match.
This morning, Baylor took the field against Indiana. With a sizable 14 shots, the Bears out-shot the Hoosiers by six, but could not beat the stellar Indiana defense (they haven't given up a goal in three-plus matches).
