Baylor-SMU notebook: Coleman racks up yards; Stidham sees first action; Young injured By BRICE CHERRY and JOHN WERNER Tribune-Herald staff writers Waco Tribune-Herald
DALLAS — It took all of two catches for Corey Coleman to surpass the 100-yard mark in Baylor’s 56-21 win over SMU Friday.
The Baylor junior snagged a 42-yard catch on the Bears’ opening possession of the game, then zipped to a 60-yard reception on the second series. Those two big plays rapidly pushed Coleman over the 100-yard mark for the fifth time in his career, which is tied for the ninth-most such performances in school history.
