FRISCO -- Baylor running back Terence Williams could be out until the Bears begin conference play with a "significant" shoulder injury, head coach Matt Rhule said at Big 12 media day on Tuesday.
Williams injured the shoulder during a spring practice and missed the spring game with the injury. Rhule said it was possible that Williams could be out even deeper into the schedule if he does not heal as quickly as hoped.
"The doctors have tried to be patient with him and make sure he really, really heals," Rhule said. "Terence has an NFL career ahead of him at some point and I want to make sure he's healed before he goes out there.
