Baylor Quarterback Seth Russell will miss the remainder of the college football season and will have neck surgery.

Russell has shined as the Bears starting QB. He leads the NCAA with 29 touchdown passes, a 189.7 passer rating and 10.5 yards per attempt. He was injured in the second half of a 45-27 win over Iowa State on Saturday. Russell’s injury comes at a crucial time as Baylor is entering the strongest part of their schedule.
