During Monday's Big 12 coaches teleconference, Baylor head coach Matt Rhule said sophomore quarterback Charlie Brewer is in concussion protocol.
Brewer is coming off the worst game of his collegiate career against West Virginia last Thursday, when he completed 1 of 8 passes for 22 yards and three interceptions.
It was the first time in his Baylor career that Brewer threw more than one interception in a game.
Senior Jalan McClendon replaced Brewer during the game, completing 16 of 21 passes for 183 yards and no interceptions in addition to a rushing touchdown.
According to Baylor's concussion management plan, players must progress through each step without their condition worsening.
