Four Baylor Bears scored in double figures, led by Al Freeman's 21. Freeman showed his versatile scoring abilities on the catch-and-shoot from three and dribble-driving to the rim. He finished shooting 4-8 from three and 8-17 from the field. Terry Maston and Lester Medford each had 12 points. Medford did his damaged from deep, shooting 4-5 from three, while Maston shot 4-6 from the field with an array of left- and right-handed jump hooks and turnaround jumpers.
