CHICAGO -- Baylor power forward Johnathan Motley, from Houston’s North Shore High School, was surprised that the Houston Rockets lost by 39 points in Game 6 to lose their conference semifinal series 4-2 to San Antonio.
“Oh, man. I’m from Houston and those are my guys,” he said. “I think they settled a little too much. There’s some things they could have done differently. But the way the Spurs came out and dominated the game, that’s just how things happen. That’s not the first time they’ve done that. They’re a great team."
