Much like the last time these teams met, the game was close at the 10 minute mark, despite an 11-0 run by Baylor to start the game. Thanks to some timely threes and absolute domination in the rebounding category, the Bears were able to outscore TCU 19-11 over the last 10 minutes.
In the second half, TCU and Malik Trent came out fighting. The Frogs managed to close the gap in about 10 minutes. Thanks to some threes and some hard driving from Trent, TCU brought the game to 57-55 with just over 9 minutes to go. In response, Baylor switched its defensive scheme from (plot twist!
