Our long national nightmare is over; former Arizona Wildcat Anu Solomon has reportedly been named the starting QB for Baylor as it takes the field for the first time in the 2017 campaign this Saturday against the Liberty Flames.
Solomon, of course, transferred to Baylor pursuant to the NCAA’s graduate transfer rule in January in time to participate in spring practice, ultimately coming out of those practices as the #2 quarterback. Since then, he has apparently overtaken incumbent Zach Smith, who started four games last season including the Cactus Bowl, and earned his first start as a Baylor Bear.
