In a season-opening win against Abilene Christian, Baylor's defense had trouble stopping the run.
Abilene Christian rushed the ball 27 times for 220 yards and a touchdown.
The run defense, I think, upsets all of us," Rhule said on Monday during Baylor's media game-week conference. "If we want to be an elite defense, our secondary has to get those guys down. We have to win on the perimeter and we didn't do that on the level we wanted on Saturday."
More help on the defensive end is on the way for Baylor.
Rhule said junior linebacker Clay Johnston would be available for Saturday's game against UT-San Antonio.
