Clay Johnston has been named to the Butkus Award watch list. The award is given to the nation’s best linebacker. Johnston was one of 51 players and four Big 12 players named to the list.
Johnston was named a preseason All-Big 12 selection. He was named to the second team last year. And he has 179 career tackles.
