The No. 2 Baylor Bears lead the Iowa State Cyclones 35-7 at halftime. With rain coming down steadily at McLane Stadium, gameplay has been unusually slow for Baylor.
OFFENSE:
Seth Russell has continued his good play from last week’s nationally recognized performance. While completing just 14 of his 30 passes, Russell has thrown the ball about as well as you can throw in rain. The junior quarterback has 186 yards and two touchdowns on the day. Russell also threw an interception in the closing minutes of the second quarter.
Russell has been under pressure all day.
