Editor's note: This is the fourth of a five-part series examining issues surrounding the 2019 Baylor Bears.
Baylor's biggest offensive departure heading into this spring was running back-turned-receiver Jalen Hurd.
In his lone season on the field with the Bears, he led them with 946 receiving yards and had 11 total touchdowns.
With him now gone, Baylor will now have to rely heavily on Denzel Mims and Chris Platt, who combined for 1,148 yards last season.
While they are solid options for Charlie Brewer next season, this spring, Baylor needs to find a third receiving option and more depth in its receiving corps.
