Baylor head coach Matt Rhule appeared on a Big 12 teleconference recently. Here are the 3 biggest takeaways from his appearance:
1. Charlie Brewer is good to go
After suffering a back injury that kept him out for the rest of the season-opening win against Abilene Christian, head coach Matt Rhule said freshman quarterback Charlie Brewer should be good to go in Week 2 against UT-San Antonio.
"He's fine, so we expect him to practice today and be available, full-speed, going into this week," Rhule said.
2. Baylor will likely play 2 quarterbacks again
Before Brewer's injury, Rhule was rotating between him and senior Jalan McClendon at quarterback after every two drives against Abilene Christian.
