Baylor athletics lost another record-setting athlete to the professional ranks on Thursday. Hayley Davis, a senior on the Baylor Women’s Golf team, announced she will participate in LPGA Tour Qualifying School, effectively ending her collegiate career.
Davis was a three-time All American at Baylor and was the No. 12 amateur in the world. The native of Wimborne, England had a decorated career playing for the Lady Bears, as she recorded three tournament victories, including a win at the NCAA Regional Championship in San Antonio in 2015.
She received a First-Team All-Big 12 Conference selection at Baylor after recording 27 top-ten finishes and 16 top-three finishes.
