Baylor football wraps up fall camp with short scrimmage Staff report Waco Tribune-Herald
Devin Chafin scored the only touchdown on a 3-yard run as Baylor closed fall camp with an abbreviated 45-minute scrimmage Thursday night at McLane Stadium.
The 53-play scrimmage was Baylor’s third in preparation for its Sept. 4 season opener against SMU in Dallas. Like all the scrimmages, it was closed to the media and public.
Spencer Evans nailed a 55-yard field goal after hitting a 60-yard field goal in last weekend’s scrimmage. Chris Callahan hit a pair of 40-yard field goals.
