Baylor Baseball, fresh off earning an automatic qualifying bid by winning the Big 12 Championship, anxiously awaited their placement during the NCAA Selection Show:
Thanks to the Bears late season efforts, Baylor was awarded a regional 2 seed. That’s the good news. The bad news is the Bears are the regional 2 seed in Stanford’s regional. Stanford is the #2 overall team in the country. So the Bears will have their work cut out for them if they want to make it out of that regional. But Baylor has been one of, if not the, hottest team(s) in the country.
