NEW YORK -- Baylor athletic director Mack Rhoades says the school has been "extremely transparent" with the NCAA as the organization looks into possible rules violations under former football coach Art Briles.
Speaking before Baylor's 70-50 loss to South Carolina in the NCAA East Regional, Rhoades praised the positive effect generated by both the men's and women's programs reaching the Sweet 16.
"It's been real good for all of the above, for our fans, the institution, the athletics department. ... It's been great medicine for everybody," Rhoades said. "Like college sports always does, it rallies people together, and I really think this has really helped to rally the Baylor community and Baylor Nation back together.
