Is Baylor ahead of schedule on its rebuild?
Carlton: Yes. To get to five wins after a 1-11 season and all the circumstances surrounding it is definitely a big step forward. TCU coach Gary Patterson noted the progress at Baylor and praised second-year coach Matt Rhule on Tuesday. A bowl game would be even more significant, although the the sixth win may be the toughest.
