Here are five takeaways from Baylor's 16-9 loss to TCU.
Missed chance for bowl eligibility
Saturday appeared to be the best opportunity for the Bears to clinch bowl eligibility.
TCU had suffered a multitude of injuries and then lost its second-string quarterback in the second quarter of the game.
Still, it came down to Baylor's final drive of the game that ended with the ball deflecting off receiver Denzel Mims' fingertips on fourth down to keep TCU's bowl hopes alive while putting Baylor's in jeopardy.
Now, the Bears will have to bead Texas Tech in their regular season finale on Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
