Here are five takeaways from Baylor's 31-12 victory over Boise State.
1 . Streak over. The last thing Baylor wanted to take over with it into the Matt Rhule era was a seven-game losing streak. The Bears avoided that with a strong all-around effort against Boise State to end the six-game losing streak and finish the year with a 7-6 record, sending interim head coach Jim Grobe off into retirement with a win. Considering what underdogs the Bears were going into the game, it was a big statement win for Baylor to build off of in the future.
