Here are five takeaways from Baylor's loss to No. 9 Texas:
1. Charlie Brewer was the best passer on the field
Baylor’s game against Texas on Saturday was a homecoming for sophomore quarterback Charlie Brewer, who attended Lake Travis High School in Austin.
It was also the first chance Brewer got to play on the field where his father, uncle and grandfather did. All three had stints as the Longhorns’ starting quarterback. Brewer is in his second season with Baylor.
Brewer showed the Longhorns maybe they should have let him continue the family legacy.
