Baylor has plenty of returning talent in 2019, but the Bears still lost some key contributors from an overachieving season.
Here are the five departures that will hurt Baylor the most in 2019:
1. Jalen Hurd, Sr., WR
In his only season with Baylor, Jalen Hurd instantly became the Bears' most potent offensive weapon. He led the Bears with 69 receptions for 946 yards and was second on the team with seven total touchdowns. Not bad for someone in his first season playing receiver after being a star running back at Tennessee for three years. He was also a valuable running option for the Bears, as head coach Matt Rhule liked to go to him in short-yardage situations to either get key first downs or punch in a short touchdown run.
