Baylor has added a quality prospect to the 2018 class in 4-star small forward Matthew Mayer.
John Werner of the Waco Tribune-Herald first reported the news.
The Austin native is considered the 16th-best wing in the country by Scout.com and the No. 60 player overall. He is also the No. 2 at his position in the state of Texas.
Mayer has good size for the position at 6'7", although he can stand to add some strength to his 190-pound frame. In the meantime, he excels as a shooter who should be able to consistently get looks off in college.
