Baylor (14-6, 5-2) picked up its fifth straight win with a 77-47 thrashing of Oklahoma on Monday. Here are three takeaways from the Bears' win:
Moving on up in the Big 12
Earlier this month the Bears started Big 12 play at 1-2 and learned they would be without one of their leading scorers and the nation's leader in field-goal percentage in sophomore forward Tristan Clark for the rest of the season. It looked like the Bears would be hovering near the bottom of the conference for the rest of the season.
Just over two weeks later, Baylor just won its fifth straight game and is now in a three-way tie with Kansas and Kansas State for first place in the Big 12.
