After going 1-11 in 2017, just about the only way for Baylor to trend was up. The Bears did just that, posting a 7-6 record last season and defeating Vanderbilt in the Texas Bowl.

The big question for the Bears next season is will they continue to progress under Matt Rhule and rise among the Big 12's best, or regress to somewhere between their last two seasons?
