Those were Ronnie Stanley’s words in December during a chat with Jonathan Ogden. It’s a sentiment that plenty of players express, especially when they get to play with a generational talent like Lamar Jackson.
Feelings can change when the money hits the table. Starting-caliber left tackles rarely reach unrestricted free agency, and several teams need help on the blind side. While Stanley is not an elite LT at this point, he’s still an experienced starter at one of the league’s scarcest, most important positions.
